    Lagos Artist fortune anuforo

    Anuforo Fortune, a contemporary full-time studio artist from Nigeria, was born in 1984. He studied at Yaba College of Technology acquiring his Ordinary National Diploma in the school year 2012/2013 and his Higher National Diploma (HND) in 2015/2016 in painting and drawing.

    His fusion of art on his paintings characterizes the expressions of an exaggeration, stylization, mannerist and cubist forms on the use of various patterns of Ankara designs in promoting the feel of African touch. Fortune is assiduously experimenting in his studio on the use of his forms and lines inspired by the masters’ works of Kees Van Dongen, Pablo Picasso, and Kolade Oshinowo........"Aworan'ka"

    Anufuro Fortune Emeka

    Anufuro Fortune Emeka, a native of Imo State in Nigeria who lives in Lagos State, has an Ordinary National Diploma in fine and applied art with a focus on general art and a Higher National Diploma in painting and drawing from Yaba College of Technology. His art fuses exaggeration, stylization, mannerist, and cubic forms representing African land and heritage. He was curator and industrial attaché at the Didi Museum from 2011 to 2105. He has exhibited at

    the Lasgidi Cultural Arts Exhibition in 2011, the Thought Pyramid Art Gallery’s Next of Kin competition in 2017 and 2020, the Artyrama Art Gallery “Ode to Mankind” exhibition in 2018, and “Strings Attached,” an art exhibition and fundraiser for sickle cell warriors in 2019.
