    The Artist At Work

ART IS A DRIVER OF SOCIAL CHANGE.

An eye for detail artist whose art work is inspired by culture and his environment who has blended African styles, traditional motifs and lines in his art pieces.

Babafemi Ogunkanmbi holds a Diploma in Arts, a Bachelor degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, one of Africa's finest campuses. Babafemi has participated in numerous Art Competition and exhoibition. nationally and internationally.

An agent of social change, he has chosen to make use of lines (scarifications) which is scarred through my face and body that segregate me among equals. This uniqueness is from my family lineage which is a sign of beauty and social idenity.

My art aims at expressing love and driving a social change and consciousness.

Artistics Statement: ART IS A DRIVER OF SOCIAL CHANGE.

    Babafemi on Community

Over the years of my practice, I use my art as an agent of social change encouraging people in any community I find true in my art that no condition is permanent,  in whatsoever condition we might find ourselves we should remember that "Consistency is the the gateway to success"  I used my figurative expression as a narrative of people encounter on our daily activities,  encouraging a responsible culture and making significant change for a better living.
